Resolution Games, in collaboration with Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast, has officially launched its final adventure campaign for Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked (2025). Titled "Campaign III: Twilight’s End," the newest chapter brings the epic tabletop-inspired journey to a dramatic conclusion, offering players a definitive wrap-up to the overarching narrative that has captivated tactical role-playing game fans across multiple platforms.
The release of "Twilight’s End" arrives simultaneously with the game’s debut on Xbox consoles. Notably, the Xbox release introduces full cross-platform multiplayer support, bridging communities across PC VR, Meta Quest headsets, traditional consoles, and standard PC setups. This ensures that players looking to team up in the virtual tavern can do so seamlessly, regardless of their preferred hardware ecosystem.
Priced at $10 as an add-on expansion, "Twilight’s End" picks up the narrative threads that were originally woven throughout "Embers of Chaos" and continued through "Crown of Frost." According to the development team at Resolution Games, this final module brings the multi-part story arc to a monumental head. For the very first time, players are able to experience the complete, uninterrupted journey from the initial dangers of the Neverwinter Wood and Icewind Dale through to the ultimate, high-stakes battle for the fate of Faerûn.
Resolution Games has described the new campaign as a true test for seasoned adventurers. "Twilight’s End" returns heroes to familiar lands that have now been fundamentally transformed by the consequences of the fierce conflicts that came before. The adventure takes intrepid parties across the Silver Marches, the shadowy depths of Neverwinter Wood, and the frozen expanses of Icewind Dale as deeply hidden plots finally come to light. Along the way, heroes must face an ambitious enemy whose dark designs threaten not only mortal kingdoms, but the very fabric of reality itself.
Designed to support cooperative parties of one to four heroes, "Twilight’s End" delivers approximately six hours of tightly focused, story-driven gameplay tailored for experienced players. In addition to the core narrative path, the expansion features a series of optional side quests, providing additional challenges and rewards for adventurers who are willing to venture off the beaten path and explore the darker corners of the Forgotten Realms.
While the expansion launches today across most major platforms, Resolution Games has also confirmed that Nintendo Switch 2 and Pico versions of "Twilight’s End" will arrive shortly after today’s initial rollout, ensuring an even wider audience can complete their digital campaigns.
For those unfamiliar with the premise of the crossover title, Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked invites players to team up with up to four online participants in strategic, turn-based combat across monster-filled dungeons. True to its prestigious branding, the game allows players to explore classic subterranean environments, select from familiar Dungeons & Dragons character classes, and go toe-to-toe with iconic Forgotten Realms monsters, alongside a selection of unique creatures cleverly adapted from the core Demeo universe.
Unlike a traditional tabletop session, however, Battlemarked utilizes Resolution Games’ proprietary Demeo Action Roleplaying System. This system is designed to streamline the classic dungeoneering experience, distilling complex rules into fast-paced tactical gameplay powered by class-specific action cards and a simplified D20 mechanic. This digital-first adaptation features specialized icons for standard hits, critical hits, and misses, keeping the momentum moving forward during intense online sessions.
Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked is available now across a wide array of gaming platforms, including Xbox, the Nintendo Switch 2, Steam for PC, the Horizon Store for Meta Quest headsets, and the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2, with the base game retailing at $30.
